Today I would have to cycle a mainroad so it wouldn't be a nice day.
This "farm"
and these white herons in the Rio Guadiamar were the (only) highlights. But that was enough, it can't always be partytime. It are the more big rivers that still have some water, all small ones are completely dried-up.
Once in El Garrobo I first cycled to the cemetery but there is no shade. However there is a shower available with Very Hot water since the watertap is in the full sunlight from early in the morning until late in the afternoon and it is installed at a marblewall ...
Only problem is it is installed just some 40cms heigh 😀. So this water is actually undrinkable but the trick is to tap it today and let the falling nighttemperature cool it down a bit.
I then cycled into town but there is no decent place to camp either. There is a small townsquare and the bar was open ! Which was no surprise since it was only just 13h00 ... I had a long break there with some "short" beers since I thought it wise to wait a while until "siesta" arrived. Then Spain seems almost abandoned and less people would notice my activities settingup camp.

But next to that cemetery is a field with nice trees along the south- and the westside.
Exactly what I need so I returned there and put up my tent.

It was a boring day which actually hardly ever is the case. To my opinion at least. And I "only" needed 2h30 to cycle the 20kms and 200vms. Which still makes it a 2% uphill-day since I started and ended almost at the same height. So in average you cycle the meters uphill in half of the distance and the other half you are descending.
And this is the interactive map of today's YesTrip.
El Garrobo doesn't seem to have much to offer but let's be optimistic and find out. Then it could therefor be exactly what I like ...
